Ras Ghareb Wind Energy

Ras Ghareb Wind Energy S.A.E. is an Egyptian joint-stock company established in 2017 that develops and operates a large-scale onshore wind farm near Ras Ghareb in the Gulf of Suez region. The facility supplies clean electricity to Egypt's national grid under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, supporting the country's renewable energy targets through responsible infrastructure development.

• Products: A 262.5 MW onshore wind farm utilizing 125 Siemens Gamesa G97 turbines with 2.1 MW capacity each and 71 m hub heights.
• Services: Full lifecycle project management including development, financing, construction, and long-term operation and maintenance under a Build-Own-Operate model.
• Sustainability: The project has offset over 2.3 million tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions since reaching commercial operation in 2019 while adhering to high environmental standards.

The company operates as part of a consortium led by ENGIE, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, and Orascom Construction within Egypt's premier wind corridor.
