GivingCare ERASMUS+ Project

GivingCare is a Portuguese international partnership dedicated to empowering personal caregivers and assistants by developing their technical, soft, and digital skills through an innovative continuing education program. The initiative addresses critical gaps in training for health professionals and informal carers facing aging population challenges across Europe.

• Industries: Healthcare, social care services, adult education, and disability support sectors.
• Customers: Formal and informal caregivers, personal assistants, nurses, therapists, NGOs, associations, higher education providers, decision-makers, and families of individuals needing care.
• Innovation: An independent module-based continuous education program designed to modernize academic offerings and foster professional recognition for care workers.

The project unites researchers and staff from Portugal, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, and Belgium to deliver qualitative results through diverse cultural experiences.
