COIR FIBRE PRODUCT
  • Our natural products coconuts found in abundance in the islands of Indonesia have created opportunities for such industry to develop. Our company PT. Bali Fibre Industry was set up in 1992 to pursue and enhance the development of these products.
  • Decoticating of coconut coir fibre to produce fibre bales which could be sold directly to different industries for further process.

    Coconut Coir Fibre in bales    		 DIFFERENT TYPES OF BALES SUPPLIED INCLUDED
    Bristle Fibre Bales:- Mainly used in the manufacture of brushes, coir twine and twisted fibre 150-160kg/bale.
    Flame Retardent Fibre:- Used in up market upholstry. Natural/dyed twisted, polished fibre with flame retardent. Slow to ignite. Emits no toxic fumes on combustion. Coils and ballots of 20-25kg.
    Mattress Fibre Bales:- Mainly used in the manufacture of coir spring mattresses, bedding and upholstry and twisted fibre.
    Machine Twisted Fibre:- Mainly used in rubberised form for automobile seats, soil stabilisation, Insulation and packaging. 0.5"=0.75" diameter coiled ballots of 20-25kg.

    PROCESSED PRODUCT
    Rubberised coir used as padding in car seats. At the moment mostly in luxury cars but even in some economy-cars.
    New types of car-mats in coir have been tested and are used in several countries.

    Brushes, mats, wall-to-wall carpetings, filters and upholstry pads for high quality furniture.

    Mattresses

    Insulation material in the building industry especially in colder hemisphere. It could also be used as concrete reinforcement, pressed into building boards or roofingfelt etc.

    Interesting studies continue to be done to explore many more opportunities of coir fibres.
